HAPGOOD, Charles H. Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings: Evidence of Advanced Civilization in the Ice Age. Adventures Unlimited Press, 1997.

HAWASS, Zahi. The Secrets of the Sphinx: Restoration Past and Present. American University of Cairo Press
Zahi's little book is a good summary of classical Sphinx information and includes an extensive, careful and refreshingly uninflammatory rebuttal of our geological work. This is a useful summary. By setting out the orthodox game plan as it were, we are able to better plan our own campaign of rebuttal.

LAVIOLETTE, Paul. Beyond the Big Bang: Ancient Myth and the Science of Continuous Creation. Inner Tradition International, Ltd., 1995.
A systems theorist, astronomer and mathematician, Laviolette does a very good job exposing another reigning scientific superstition, The Big Bang, and then goes on to show how cutting edge contemporary cosmology finds its reflected image in the symbolism of ancient mythology, in particular that of the tarot and astrology.

LAVIOLETTE, Paul. Earth Under Fire: Humanity's Survival of the Apocalypse.
New York: Starlane Publications, 1997.
Laviolette provides still another explanation for the ancient cataclysm scenario; (one that did not find it's way into Schoch's book.) Intriguing, solidly researched and presented, but perhaps even more difficult to 'prove' than the competing scenarios.

LEHNER, Mark The Complete Pyramids: Solving the Ancient Mysteries, Thames & Hudson.
Mark Lehner's 'solution' for the geological questions surrounding the age of the Sphinx is to fail to mention them at all; other thorny questions (building techniques, astronomical considerations, Frank Domingo's forensic work) are handled with commensurate aplomb and meticulousness. There is, nevertheless, enough useful information along with excellent diagrams and photos to make this otherwise woefully incomplete Complete book worth owning.

MILTON, Richard. Shattering the Myths of Darwinism. Inner Tradition International, Ltd., 1990.
Science writer Milton adroitly hammers still more nails into the coffin of the superstition that refuses to die: Darwinian evolution, The Cargo Cult of the West (that is to say, Evolution as an accidental process). Because this theory, (the only one in the world less scientific than the Immaculate Conception), is absolutely central and essential to the catechism of the Church of Progress, the overwhelming evidence already accumulated against it cannot be accepted by the academic/scientific Vatican. But it is important for people with their rational and emotional faculties functioning more or less normally to understand that evidence. Milton's book both summarizes the evidence and adds many new angles and pieces along the line. Again, the level of scientific/academic vituperation greeting Milton's book comes close to proof that something about it must be right.

PYE, Lloyd. www.lloydpye.com , http://www.starchildproject.com/
Lloyd Pye wrote a book "Everything You Know Is Wrong."

SITCHIN, Zacharia. Earth Chronicles, 6 Vols.
For greatest comprehension, it is suggested that these books be read in order of publication and with a very open mind. The ideas are intriguing even if academic-level proof is lacking.

Order the first book of the Earth Chronicles, The Twelfth Planet (Bear & Co., 1991) Sitchen's first book in his series on humanity's extraterrestrial forefathers.

Order the second book,  The Stairway to Heaven (Avon, 1996)
Sitchen takes us to the legendary Land of the Gods, and provides revelations about the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and other mysterious monuments whose true meanings and purposes have been lost.

Order the third book, The Wars of Gods and Men (Avon, 1995)
Sitchen investigates the origins of Giza, Baalbek, Jerusalem, and other mysterious sites; time-wise, beginning with the earliest recorded times on earth going through the time of the old testament. Find out who Abraham "really" was.

Order the fourth book,  The Lost Realms (Avon, 1996)
Sitchin again turns to ancient sources for proof supporting his theories that millennia ago alien visitors shaped our destiny.

Order the fifth book, Genesis Revsited (Avon, 1995)
A re-evaluation of the Bible's book of Genesis.

Order the fifth book, The Cosmic Code (Avon, 1998)
Many thousands of years ago, extraordinary beings guided the evolution of life on earth, determining the very nature of humankind we know today.

SULLIVAN William. The Secret of the Incas: Myth, Astronomy and the War Against Time. Crown Publishing, 1997.
A compelling case for the commanding role played by astrological interpretation of astronomical events in the formulation of Inca mythology. The virulence of the attack launched against this book by classical archaeologists is a good indication of both its validity and its importance. Again, we see that myth is not a consequence of the maundering 'primitive' mind, but rather profound cosmology couched in literary terminology.

TEMPLE, Robert K.G. The Sirius Mystery. Inner Traditions International Ltd., 1987.
Tracing the traditions of four African tribes back 5000 years to the ancient Mediterranean cultures of Sumer and Egypt, Temple theorizes that these cultures possessed great knowledge, much of which they claimed was given them by visitors from Sirius.

TOMPKINS, Peter and Stecchini, Livio Catullo. Secrets of the Great Pyramid. Budget Book Service, 1997.
Stecchini has discussed the hawk-headed man holding a spear pointed at the great bear, as indicating the meridian through the pole of the ecliptic. In this book, are accounts of the discoveries made about the Great Pyramid of Cheops, including recent assertions that the structure was used as a geometric tool to reflect the outside world.

URANTIA BOOK. The Urantia Book, Urantia Foundation, 1996.
This holy book is a synthesis of science, philosophy, and truth; of reason, wisdom, and faith; of past, present, and future. The book claims to be a revelation to our world from those who govern the universe.

VON DANIKEN, Erich. The Eyes of the Sphinx: The Newest Evidence of Extraterrestrial Contact in Ancient Egypt. Berkley Publishing Group, 1996.
The author reveals more evidence of extraterrestrial contact with Earth. From undiscovered passageways to the world's first robot to ancient flying ships.

WILSON, Colin. From Atlantis to the Sphinx. Fromm International, 1997.
Were the pyramids built by a highly-advanced archaic civilization? Recent discoveries of ancient water damage to the Sphinx have thrown the scientific world into a tizzy with the suggestion that Egypt's legendary monuments might be thousands of years older than previously believed. Colin Wilson delves into these new findings and takes readers on a grand tour of the knowledge amassed by researchers over the centuries.

God's Ultimate Task: Re-Creating the Universe in a Positive Dimension by Rich Anders

About the Author
Rich Anders was borne and raised in Austria. He attended Rollins College in Florida and graduated from the University of Vienna. Rich Anders spent 15 years in various executive positions. Then he visited the Virgin Islands and stayed. The Caribbean proved to be the right setting for writing this book

Book Description
The universe is collapsing and only someone with might over all can save life from extinction. God the Almighty has to re-create the universe in a positive dimension to undo its pattern of ultimate destruction. This book reveals the events leading up to the present situation. The task God the Almighty has to accomplish is described in detail. This account of things to come is more than just prophecy; it is the work establishing the spiritual patterns that will trigger and determine the events of the change of dimensions on this planet, in the Solar System, and throughout the entire universe.

The End of the World - Then What: Before the Imminent End Mankind's Future Is Revealed
by Rich Anders
Planet of the Greeks: The Great Time Warp of History
by Meres J. Weche.

Book Description
Amid the continuing raging debate over the origins of Western civilization, Planet of the Greeks interjects some vital new perspectives into this ever-expanding controversy. The author inaugurates a brand new era of archaeological detective work characterized by an uncommonly daring, and breathtakingly multi-disciplinarian, approach to ancient history. Inspired by the epoch-making revision of ancient history presented in Dr Immanuel Velikovsky's "Ages in Chaos" book series, Planet of the Greek's main thesis is that the accepted chronological framework for the history of the ancient world is gravely flawed and that a revised model must be offered.

This very revision has lead the author to venture into the mine fields of several disciplines; mainly Egyptology, the classics and biblical archaeology. Through a simultaneous and exhaustive analysis of various ancient sacred texts such as the Old Testament, the extant textual records of ancient Egypt, and the accounts of the classical Greek chroniclers, some striking parallels are discovered which shed some surprising and truly revolutionary light on how and when things happenned in the ancient world. The stunning conclusions drawn from these unexpected discoveries demand nothing less than a complete overhaul of evereything we thought we knew about the ancients' world view, theology, cultures, historiography, and scientific knowledge.

The modern scholarly enterprise has greatly been influenced by the Post-Socratic legacy of ancient Greece. Known from the 19th century as the dawning of the "Axial Age", the middle of the first millennium B.C. has supposedly ushered in an era whence the "rational" or "modern" mode of scientific inquiry had, throughout much of the ancient world, at last replaced the more "primitive" and "pre-logical" belief of the ancients in the cyclical flow of nature and history. The angry planetary gods had been replaced by the uniformitarian, or orderly, understanding of the cosmos. The author convincingly argues that, with Western civilization's attempts to discredit pre-Socratic literature as viable scientific sources (such as Herodotus or Diodorus of Sicily's beliefs in the Egypto-Phoenician origins of Greek civilization, the biblical narratives, or the ancient Chinese's belief in the periodic degeneration of the natural order), modern scholarship has been led astray for millennia. As the pieces of the puzzle are put back together in this volume, we elucidate, amongst many other mysteries, the real identity of the Pharaoh of the Exodus, the startling truth behind the biblical Moses, the enigma of the Dark Age of Greece and the elusive historiographical context of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.

By bodly re-ordering the course of pharaonic history and, by extension, altering the entire history of the ancient world, Planet of the Greeks opens a Pandora's box which will not soon be closed. This explosive mixture of chronological revisionism, catastrophism, Afrocentricity, religious heresy and overall revolutionary scholarship is sure to shake the very foundations of normal science.

From the Author
If there is such a thing as ownership of knowledge, then this book is a blatant act of theft. For nearly four years, I have had the temerity of trespassing into diverse established strongholds of Western scholarship -- uncovering glaring inconsistencies and endeavouring to overturn, redefine and synthesize an armada of scholarly and scientific paradigms which, supported by traditional institutional pillars, have stood the test of time. Stripping science to its bare essentials, the present work issues the following challenge: Could the edifice of Western scholarship withstand a rigorous multi-disciplinarian critique of its most fundamental paradigms? How much of what universally, and uncritically, passes for objective science today supported by mere convention? These are some of the central issues tackled here. Through an exhaustive analysis of the extant archaeological and textual evidence used by historians throughout the ages to write history, I shall undertake to explain why I believe that much of this same body of evidence has been gravely misinterpreted. This "organized confusion" which is the conventional chronology of the ancient world is responsible for many embarrassing gaps and so-called "Dark Ages" throughout ancient history. ... The goal of the present volume is to reinterpret the entire history of the ancient world through the window of ancient pharaonic culture. This objective can only be achieved by radically altering the traditionally accepted chronology of ancient Egypt. With the new chronology, it will finally be possible to bridge the gap between biblical and pharaonic history, as well as to synchronize well-known accounts of ancient Greek historians with the world's "lost history."
