On the Forbidden Letters - by Mirjam de Heer
Part 1 - Introduction

[ The Raising of Lazarus - Sebastiano del Piombo ]
'This was all I could get out of Mark and Secret Mark: Jesus had
a mystery of the Kingdom of God, a baptismal rite, which he administered to
some, at least, of his disciples. It was nocturnal, secret, and Mark thought it
required six days of preparation.'[Morton Smith -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morton_Smith ]
'I don't know where Morton Smith got those "six days of preparation." The
text only gives "after six days Jesus told him what to do." They might have had
a romance in those six days. But then, Smith needed those "six days of
preparation" for his baptismal rite-theory. So he invented them. All six of
them...'[Eugen Liebfels]
'In 1840 Bruno Bauer [
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruno_Bauer ] contended that Jesus was an
invention of Mark.'[Hector Hawton]

[ Mar Saba ]
In the spring of 1958 Morton Smith went to Israel to do research in the
library of Mar Saba in the Judean Desert. There he would discover the Secret
Gospel of St.. Mark. A gospel supposedly telling of nocturnal rites performed by
Jesus with his disciples:
'And they came into Bethany. And a certain woman whose brother had died
was there. And she prostrated herself before Jesus and said to him, Son of
David, have mercy on me.. But the disciples rebuked her. And Jesus, being
angered, went off with her unto the garden where the tomb was, and straightway
a great cry was heard from the tomb. And going near, Jesus rolled away the
stone from the door of the tomb. And straightway, going in where the youth
was, he stretched forth his hand and raised him, seizing his hand. But the
youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be
with him. And going out of the tomb they came into the house of the youth, for
he was rich. And after six days Jesus told him what to do and in the evening
the youth came to him, wearing a linen cloth over his naked body. And he
remained with him that night, for Jesus taught him the mystery of the Kingdom
of God. And thence, arising, he returned to the other side of the Jordan.'
[Secret Mark]
Smith concluded that 'there were apparently secrets behind the messianic
secret,'[1973:87] and that those secrets 'seem to have concerned the Kingdom of
God .'[Ibid] But, he was unaware of course of the fact that that Kingdom was
alchemical in nature and depending on a specific balance of the microcosmic male
and female, or Yin and Yang, allegedly only possessed by certain male
homosexuals. Had he known about these things, he might have understood why the
figure of Christ appears so un-heterosexual: the author secretly passing the
hidden connection 'between homosexuality and the Work of the Sun in the Solar
Hero (i.e. the alchemist).'[de Renzi et al.]
'When Jesus therefore had seen his mother and the disciple standing whom
he loved, he saith to his mother: Woman, behold thy son. After that, he saith
to the disciple: Behold thy mother. And from that hour, the disciple took her
to his own.' [John 19:26-27]
Smith of course also pondered 14:51-52 of public Mark, the Gospel of Mark we
have been familiar with for many centuries. Because that gospel too features a
naked young man at night:
'And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast
about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him: And he left the
linen cloth, and fled from them naked.' [Mark 14:51-52]
Through seventeen hundred years of New Testament scholarship, Smith then
writes, 'nobody has ever been able to explain what that young man was doing
alone with Jesus in such a place, at such a time, and in such a
costume.'[1973:80-81] Smith's guess was that Mark 14 pointed to Secret Mark and
described some kind of secret, nocturnal baptism.
Others profess that both Secret Mark and Mark 14 have to be read in the light
of logon 37 of the Gospel of Thomas: 'His disciples said, "When will you
appear to us, and when will we see you?"
Jesus said, "When you strip without being ashamed, and you take your clothes
and put them under your feet like little children and trample them, then [you]
will see the son of the living one and you will not be afraid." - '[GOT 37]
But this doesn't explain the clearly gay component in Secret Mark: 'But the
youth, looking upon him, loved him and began to beseech him that he might be
with him.'[SM]
Again, de Renzi et al. conjecture, rightly in my opinion, that this gay
component can only be explained if the writer secretly wanted to communicate the
controversial connection between homosexuality and the alchemical Kingdom of
God. But this is not all. I think there is one more incident in the New
Testament corroborating the theory of a hidden 'gay agenda' of an
alchemist-writer. When Jesus sent a couple of disciples to make preparations for
the Passover meal, 'he did not tell them the address, but told them to look
for a man carrying a pitcher of water.'[1973:80] Verbatim:
'And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover,
his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou
mayest eat the passover?
And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the
city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.'[Matthew
12:12-13]
Carrying water though in the ancient world 'was women's work, so this was
like saying: "Look for a man wearing lipstick."
- '[Morton Smith, 1973:80/emphasis added]
Yet, they followed that kink, and where the carrier went in 'they gave a
prearranged message to the owner of the house, who then showed them an upper
room in which they prepared the meal.'[Ibid]
"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."[Matthew 11:15]
Part 2 - Quotes

'Yet, there are other pyramids to the south of Gizeh in which the alleged
tomb-chambers are actually too small ever to have contained a body in the first
place.'[Lemesurier, 1987:15] (1)
'How can you label the pyramids "royal burial mounds" when it is known that
Khufu's father, Snofru, had two pyramids at Dashur, and possibly a third at
Meidum?'[Lemesurier, 1987:19] (2)
'Cheops' pyramid was connected with alchemy in the Roman period (30 BC - 386
CE).'[Erik Hornung] (3)
'So too have most been able to accept as other than folklore the statements
of Arab historians, especially claims of 72.000
years for the Great Pyramid's age.'[Staniland Wake, 1987:ix] (4)
'There are many nadi's (tubes) in the subtle body. Some figures have been
proposed: 300.000, 200.000, 100.000, but especially
72.000. Among them 72 are of particular importance.' [Mircea Eliade]
(5)
'Otto Reich informs us that the hero Seth was "chosen by the Nicolaïtans as
the type of the good man, the perfect, the prototype of Christ." The Hyksos made
Seth even their Mystery-God, and on Egyptian monuments Seth's name was
accompanied by the representation of a stone. So what we have here is a by times
homosexual God, who was represented by a stone, who fathered Thoth (the Father
of Alchemy), [see section 7 of
http://www.world-mysteries.com/PhilipGardiner/forbidden_letters2.htm ], who
fought a serpent, who lost a testicle, and who was worshipped in ancient Egypt
'with obscene homosexual rituals.'[Burns] A God and Stone later possibly
rejected because of these homosexual rituals. Rituals who perhaps pointed to a
hidden connection between the Stone of Transmutation and homosexuality. A God
and Stone then who might just have entered the Bible in Psalm 118 as the stone
the builders rejected [
http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/psalms/psalm118.htm ].'[Guido Popp on the
Forbidden Letters] (6)
'Agathodaemon was none other than Seth, and according to some writers Hermes
was his son.'[Staniland Wake, 1987:57] [
http://www.sacred-texts.com/earth/osgp/index.htm ] (7)
'Abd Allatif also refers to pilgrimages made to the pyramids, and he affirms
that he had read in ancient Sabaean books [
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabaean ] that one pyramid was the tomb of
Agathodaimon (i.e. Seth/Author's note) and another of Hermes.'[Staniland Wake,
1987:59] (8)
'At some point in time the Benben sat in a temple. The Sumerians had great
plans for stealing it and even constructed a very expensive temple to house it.
Their king was told by god to make this temple as strong as the "House of the
Serpent," an old mystery school name for the Great Pyramid.'[Tony Bushby] But
wait a minute? Why was the Great Pyramid called "House of the Serpent?" Because,
according to Bushby, ancient Egyptian priests maintained that,
"a serpent lies coiled in the Great Pyramid."[Bushby]
Just like the Kundalini-serpent lies coiled in the human body till it is driven
out by the 'unnatural fire' or ignis innaturalis of Alchemy - the fire of
Kundalini. [Fernando da Silva on the Forbidden Letters] (9)
'The serpent, enclosed in a pyramid, is taken from a gem figured in Matter's
"Histoire Critique du Gnosticism" (II, 13, figure 2/Author's note). It is there
said to be the Agathodaimon - Christos, with the seven sons of Sophia (wisdom),
the seven planetary genii.'[Staniland Wake, 1987:v] (10)
'Erik Hornung ensures us that the earliest direct teachings from Egypt on
alchemy are all in Greek and stem from the second century BC: "Corresponding
Egyptian texts are as yet unknown, but the Greek texts make frequent mention of
Egyptian deities, especially Isis, Osiris and Horus." - '[Guido Popp on the
Forbidden Letters] (11)
'That no early Egyptian documents remain is not surprising, since it is an
essential feature of a sacred art (like alchemy) that it is transmitted orally.
That it should be commited to writing is usually a first sign of decadence, or a
fear that the oral tradition is going to be lost.'[Titus Burckhardt, 1967:16]
(12)
'In the human body is concealed a certain metaphysical substance which needs
no medicament, being itself an incorrupt medicament.'[Gerard Dorn/ quoted by
Jung] (13)
'It is presumably Hermes who points out to (the human) Ostanes that something
incorruptible is in his nature which he shares with the Agathodaimon, something
divine, obviously the germ of unity. This germ is the gold, the aurum
philosophorum (of immortality/Author's note).'[Jung, 1963: pars 6] (14)
'You need gold to make gold.'[Saying in Alchemy] (15)
'The essence and aim of mysticism is union with God. Alchemy does not speak
of this.'[Titus Burckhardt, 1967:25] (16)
'Since alchemy is performed by the Self and the Self is the only living God,
we could say that alchemy is autotheistic.'[Jean Fenelon on the Forbidden
Letters] (17)
'Alchemy is not about a union with God, it is about
becoming God. God is but an aspect
of the alchemist. In the words of the Corpus Hermeticum: "Man is a mortal God,
and God an immortal man." The union with God implies that God is 'someone else,'
or 'somewhere else.' And no such notion is found in alchemy.'[John Raven on the
Forbidden Letters/emphasis added] (18)
'Alchemy is neither theological, nor ethical; it looks on the play of the
powers of the soul from a purely cosmological point of view.'[Titus Burckhardt,
1967:27] (19)
'In other words, alchemical cosmology is essentially a doctrine of being, an
ontology.'[Ibid] (20)
'The human body is an alchemical body.'[David Gordon White] (21)
'The body is a vast magazine of power.'[Sir John Woodroffe on Indian Alchemy
(
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Woodroffe )] (22)
'Nothing will be impossible for you.'[Jesus] (23)
'It is only in comparatively modern times that the possibility was considered
that Jesus does not belong to history at all. Those who come across this idea
for the first time are naturally startled by it.'[Robertson, 1967:63 [
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Mackinnon_Robertson ]] (24)
'Robertson's most distinctive thesis (in his book Pagan Christs/Author's
note) is that the Gospel was a mystery play which came to be accepted as an
account of real happenings (just like the accounts of 'King' Arthur and 'King'
Solomon for example/ author's note). The origin of this ritual drama is an
ancient Palestinian rite in which an annual victim, known as 'Jesus-Joshua, the
Son of the Father' was actually sacrificed.'[Hector Hawton] (25)
'The name Jesus is a variant of Joshua/Jeshu, and the latter is an ancient
(Palestinian) deity reduced to human status.'[Robertson, 1967:21] (26)
'In the Egyptian Book of the Dead Petra
is the name of the divine doorkeeper of heaven.'[Robertson, 1967:133/emphasis
added] (27)
'A word here and now too on Simon bar Jona who saw his name changed into
Peter. Peter comes from the Greek (word) petra,
meaning rock. A rock is not a stone (alchemy), but the next best thing to a
stone if you want to encode alchemy. A stone is lithos in Greek, but you can't
make a name with lithos. He holds the key's to heaven (the Kundalini
stone).'[The Paris 4 in Letter # 4/ emphasis added] (28)
'A God and Stone then who might just have entered the Bible in Psalm 118 as
the stone the builders rejected [
http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/psalms/psalm118.htm ].[Guido Popp on the
Forbidden Letters] (29)
'And that would bring us to the first chapters of Genesis in my opinion, the
"only book in the Old Testament with kernels of alchemy," according to Paul
Nixon.'[John Hume on the Forbidden Letters] (30)
'Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well; whose branches
run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and
hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made
strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; from
thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel.'[Genesis 49:22-24] (31)
'Our Lord and Shepherd, Jesus Christ, the
Living Stone.'[John Quale/emphasis added]
(32)
'But do we really have to look at outer space to explain alchemical
decapitation and chakra's, and thereby life? Or could Alchemy indeed be
terrestrial? We don't know of course. But I have this hunch it is. That Mother
Earth lives in more ways than is dreamt of in our philosophies.'[Hugo Dewasme on
the Forbidden Letters] (33)
'c) The snake is driven out. Our friend doesn't know where it went. Up the
spine, but after that: no clue. (Into the earth?)' - d) The wheel starts to spin
and is raised to the forehead. -
e) One starts to descend into the earth.'[The Paris 4] (34)
'It follows from this that it might be wise to try to discover how Kundalini
operates in the earth and not only in the body to consider Maha-Kundalini as a
geodynamic force.'[Scott, 1983:96] (35)

[ The Muladhara Mandala ]
'In the Muladhara Mandala the Kundalini triangle is in the centre of the
square of Prithvi.
[
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prithvi ] Its place is within the Earth's
field of forces. It is not, however, the Earth force itself, but a force which
plays a central role in preserving the stability of the Earth's force-field.'[Scott,
1983:97] (36)
'When you succeed in awakening the Kundalini, you necessarily start a world
which is totally different from our world. It is a world of eternity.'[Carl
Jung] (37)
'The Kundalini energy exists in every atom of the universe.'[Ajit Mookerjee]
(38)
'Bernouf says: "The study of the Grail legend
permits us to understand and discover that esoteric teaching which has never
ceased to ensoul the five great Aryan religions. This theory is of a Fire as the
universal force under different names, always the same at the basis, and
manifesting itself by the same words and symbols." This Fire is the true Spirit
of Life, the Living Word which enflames the soul of man, and gives it that force
by which it can conquer the kingdoms of the lower world, and, crossing the ocean
of births and deaths, can finally land itself on the further shore, a holy,
purified "Son of God." A saviour of worlds to come. Thus runs the legend of the
Holy Grail.' [Cooper Oakley] (39)
